Daily Interaction Connections
What do we mean when we say that individuals encounter “many connections” throughout the day? Our full explanation could fill a book, but we’ll keep it brief.
- Our concept of a “connection” refers to any personal interaction between an individual and their environment. Specifically, for us, this means interactions between individuals and the products or services they consume from businesses.
Examples of Daily Connections :
Here’s a snapshot of some common interactions with services and products (connections or also thought of as transactions), starting with waking up in the morning
• Personal Products
- Most people early in the morning use products like toothpaste, hairbrushes, mouthwash, towels, or pills. Each of these connections is a transaction with a business.
- You might feel happy or frustrated, ready to give a star rating, or express other emotions. Sometimes, reactions are hard to put into words, which is why Flakr we allow you to share pictures or videos.
• First Impressions
- Upon waking, something might work wonderfully – like a product you used for the first time. You may want to praise the people who designed, manufactured, or sold it.
- Similarly, if a product spoils, breaks, or seems unsafe, you might want to file a complaint about your interaction
• Daily Routine
Transactions happen as you prepare food, eat, use home devices, interact with smart phones, or deal with traffic lights, health clubs, and more.
• Workday Transactions
From the moment you leave home and reach your destination, you encounter different technologies (cash registers, digital devices, apps, etc.) and office equipment (chairs, papers, lighting, etc.). Your interactions depend on your profession, but the list is nearly endless.
• Throughout The Day
Lunchtime, dinner, shopping, recreation, and entertainment are full of interactions with products and services. It’s easy to accumulate over 20 interactions a day without even realizing it.
• Monthly Tally
- Multiply 20 daily interactions by seven days, and you’re exceeding 160 interactions in a week. Over a month, this easily surpasses 5,000 interactions with products or services.
